Department of Digital Media

The Digital Media Art Design major has a strong teaching team based on graphic images and other related theoretical methods, featuring expressive creativity, network media, mobile media, and interaction design. It has established an interdisciplinary teaching team with industrial design, computer information, communication, advertising, and other majors. There are 21 full-time teachers, including three full professors, five associate professors, 13 lecturers, and laboratorians. They can better support the courses in graphic image creativity, film and television design and editing production, interaction design, multimedia technology, and other aspects to meet the planned teaching arrangements. The teaching team has undertaken many national, provincial, and ministerial scientific research projects. They have won one "national virtual simulation experimental project," completed two online MOOCs, launched more than 30,000 courses, and published five related teaching materials. The department has won the second prize in provincial teaching achievements, one provincial teaching reform project, and published more than 20 teaching reform papers with outstanding teaching achievements.
